FASWVA is excited to have Kroger as our Hunger Action Month Sponsor for another year. Kroger is committed to ending hunger in the communities they serve and reducing waste in their stores.
With more than 142,000 people facing hunger in Southwest Virginia, Kroger’s partnership and dedication to hunger relief is critical.
“We want to be part of the solution to food insecurity,” said Allison McGee, Kroger Corporate Affairs Manager and FASWVA board member. “Partnering with local food banks and supporting initiatives like Hunger Action Month is one way we do that.”
Thank you, Kroger, for feeding Southwest Virginia!
Whether you donate food, donate funds, volunteer, or educate a friend about the need in Southwest Virginia this month, every action counts! Feeding America Southwest Virginia is participating in the national Hunger Action Month campaign this year that hopes to secure 40,000 actions to fight hunger.
