We conduct major food drives throughout the year to help keep our warehouse shelves stocked.
|The statewide Legal Food Frenzy is a food and fund drive competition among all Virginia law firms and organizations sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General. It has raised millions in food and funds to fight hunger since 2007. In this friendly competition, the law firm or organization that raises the most food (based on a per person average of attorneys and staff) is awarded the prestigious and highly coveted Attorney General’s Cup.||April 4th – 15th|
The National Association of Letter Carriers National Food Drive is a nationwide food drive that has taken place every year since 1991. Over the decades, your neighborhood postal workers have helped collect billions of pounds of non-perishable food that have gone directly to the hungry in our local communities.

|The Juice Drive is an effort to collect wholesome, 100% juice for our children’s programs. Full of the nutrients that growing kids need so they can grow and focus, fruit and vegetable juices are expensive and difficult to acquire through major donor channels.||June 1st – 30th|
|Peanut butter is shelf-stable, protein rich alternative to expensive meats. Through the years, the food bank has partnered with faith-based organizations to to collects thousands of pounds of this favorite food.||July 1st – 31st|
|Kicking off the Holiday Season and always popular is the Craftsmen’s Fall Classic at the Roanoke Civic Center. The show features original designs and work from hundreds of talented artists and craftspeople from across America. Free admission with a food donation!||October 9th – 11th, 2015|
