As our community comes together to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we at Feeding Southwest Virginia remain steadfast in our mission to feed our hungry neighbors in need. At this time, financial donations are most appreciated to address the need for more food and distribution of food in different ways.
We anticipate the need to spike in our community as a result of this virus and the economic impact on lower income families already struggling with putting food on the table. We are working with a sense of urgency on emergency response plans that will allow us to safely and effectively meet the food insecurity needs of our community despite these significant challenges.
If you would like to make a donation, you can give online now.
Remember that every $1 helps to provide 6 meals to hungry individuals in Southwest Virginia.
If you can hold a food drive, please contact Joseph Medlin for more information at (540) 342-3011 x7039 or send him an email.
Thank you for you caring about hunger.
